This is part-1 of a 5-part series focused on stretching the soft-tissues in and around the carpal tunnel in order to help relieve pressure on the median nerve. Stretching the muscles / tendons underneath and on top fop the carpal ligament is very important for increasing the space within the tunnel and obtaining relief from the disabling symptoms. Parts 2-5 of the series include more advanced stretches for those not obtaining relief from the basic carpal tunnel stretches.
